Who can apply?+
Creators anywhere who know their city well: food, drinks, neighborhoods, nights out.
Do I need a big following?+
No. There's no follower minimum. We look at your taste, your notes, and how much your audience trusts what you recommend.
What do people get when they buy my map?+
Every place on it, with your notes, tags and highlights, in the order you chose. It lands on their Curio map, with a switch to show or hide it. They pay once and keep it, and new places you publish reach them too.
What can people see before they buy?+
Your map's page, with your name, your cover and the free places you pick. The rest of the map shows as locked pins until they buy.
Where do people buy?+
On your map's page on the web, or in the Curio app. Web buyers then follow a link to add the map to their Curio account.
How much work is the first map?+
Start from places you've already saved, or from a map you already share. Add your notes, a cover and a few free places, and publish. The app shows what's left to do, and the Curio team sets you up personally.
Who sets the price?+
You do, map by map. You pick it on a scale with Curio's suggested range marked, and you can change it later. A new price applies to new buyers.
How do I get paid?+
You set up payouts once in the app, and your earnings are paid to your bank account. Your dashboard shows this month's sales and what has been paid out.
How will people find my map?+
Mostly through you. Every map has its own page and link, with a share card and a QR code for your posts, stories and bio, and your page at gocurio.app/@yourname shows all your maps. When someone asks Curio for places your map covers, Curio can suggest it too.
Can I change a map once it is on sale?+
Yes. Add places, edit notes and change the price any time. Your changes go out when you publish them. Places you take off stay with the people who already bought them, and you can pause a map whenever you want. People who bought it keep it.
What do I own?+
Your maps, your notes and your name on them. Your page carries your photo, bio, home city and Instagram, with the Curio Insider badge. Make as many maps as you like.
What happens after I apply?+
We read it and reply by email. If it's a fit, our team makes you an Insider, and the app walks you through your page and your first map.
